I haven't had a lot of blogging time lately as I am getting ready for my art show (2 weeks away now.) I did want to post my latest commissioned drawing and a couple of sneaky peeks at what I've been working on.
A painting in progress...
A bit of Disney sketching...
Japan Pavilion at EPCOT
From the "Armor Series"...
I hope all my precious blogging friends are enjoying these first few days of spring!
Blessings,
Your work is so beautiful, Christy. No wonder you have no time for blogging. Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog - moving is not fun. The work is getting done and the settling in will come.

As always, Christi, your work is exquisite, and of course, you do not have much time to blog. Happy spring.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! The colors just jump off the screen.
ReplyDeleteBTW ~ I shared your testimony with my ladies tonight at Bible Study. Thanks for letting me share ~ it will be of great help to them when writing their own testimony.

Hi Christi, I wanted to stop by and wish you a happy Easter and well, a happy art show too. Love your gallery canvas painting...isn't that a wonderful surface to work on?? I love the fact there is no frame needed.

Dear Christi,
ReplyDeleterealizing that I had misspoke on my comment after Nancy Lindemeyer's latest posting, I went back to clarify what I had meant and read your comment. Thank you and I agree! I thought that the title of your blog was lovely and decided to pop over to have a look.
You remind me of my sister and husband combined. They are both artists. I think that it would take too long to explain; so, I'll just leave it at that.
I love the painting of the flowers indoors and the winter branches out the window. You've really captured something that I love about that season - warmth and cheeriness on the inside and glittering, cold beauty out. I, also, love the helmet in your armour series. It reminds me a bit of the artwork of Timothy Botts and something else that I love but just can't put my finger on at the moment.
Very lovely thoughts and lovely blog!
Love, Katy Noelle.
P.S. Looking at your room makeover was thrilling. We have a room that I was hoping to find a similar color for. I think that I will try to find that one and check it out. Isn't it wonderful to have special, nurturing, cacooning, peaceful space to be creative in?!
Christi ~~ I can't tell you how helpful your written testimony was to my MasterLife class Wednesday evening. The ladies were able to see the perfect outline for writing their own story. Again, I'm so glad the Lord brought you into my life!
