And I must tell you that I am really excited about the new website I am designing for a friend and songwriter in the Christian music industry, Nancy Gordon. I have so enjoyed getting to know her through our phone conversations and e-mails. I hope that once her new site is live, you will go and visit. It is a really extensive site design, so I have been sucked far, far down into web code & design world. I am loving that I am getting to do this for someone whose business is writing praise and worship songs and lullabies. The neatest thing is that she found out about me and contacted me through a "friend of a friend," though she didn't really know much about me. But, I knew about her and actually sang her lullabies to my children while rocking them when they were babies. It just amazes me how God brings people together for His purposes. And if you have ever sung "Firm Foundation," then you have sung a song she wrote.
Lastly, I will share a couple of paintings that I have done in my painting class:

Well now you know what's been going on with me. I'd love to hear what's been going on with you!
Blessings,

Oh yes! You do have a lot to show for your time away. Looking forward to visiting the web site that you've been working on, too. I love the painting "Blue Autumn" and I'm most charmed by the little Connecticut Cottage. Do you suppose it's a regional thing? :D
ReplyDeleteI have missed you! But see that you've been plenty busy. :) And I so love the CT house as well...very cozy.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't wait until Christmas to post again!!!
Welcome back ~ Missed you, but can see you have been one busy artist. Your work on the homes is exquisite. What a talent.
ReplyDeleteAlso liked your oils. I'm so stuck on watercolor, but a friend recently gave me some acrylics and a VCR explaining how to use them. I'm going to give it a try!
Welcome back - you've been missed. Your artwork is beautiful, as always. And now painting, too. Good for you! Hope you take time to enjoy the days.
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering what happened to you! I am so glad to see that you are still there. You have been a busy artist and you have lots of beautiful work on display. God bless you, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting me, and for always being so very kind. You are so talented, those commissioned pieces are just beautiful! I know that they will become each homeowners most cherished possesion. You have a gift. xo Lidy

Hello
ReplyDeletenice blog!
Stumbled across your blog today and love it! You are a very talented artist. I'm not artistic in the least...not when it comes to oil and canvan anyway. I'm a writer from Northern California. If you want, no pressure, you can check out my blog too where I *sometimes* ramble about writing and artwork and stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat to "meet" you!

Wow! Your drawings and paintings are incredible. I'm always jealous of people who have art skills because I don't have any.
ReplyDeleteI love the second house design, though the third one looks really cute (reminds me of a cottage).
