News, news for fans of the original Victoria magazine...

If you've been around my blog or website any length of time, you know how I feel about the lovely Victoria magazine. I began subscribing in 1987, the year the magazine was introduced, and still have all my copies. I have carried them from pillar to post through six moves.

Nancy Lindemeyer, who was the original editor of Victoria magazine, has started a blog. She was the primary influence in shaping that beautiful magazine back in its original heyday, and she will be sharing about the projects she is involved in and writing that she is doing now. So, if you are a kindred spirit and would love to check it out, here's the link:

  2. Thanks for visiting. Glad your back to blogland. I too have moved my Victoria magazines 3X. My husband just looks at me and rolls his eyes...like...why?

So I will check out the blog and thank you for sharing your obsession. I always feel a little bit better when I know I am not the only strange magazine saving gal on the block :)

  3. I've been a fan of Victoria since the first Hearst issue, ages ago. ... just found your blog as I was doing a search for info on the history of the magazine. As it happens, I have an essay on the back page of the Mar/April 2010 issue. Was feeling nostalgic for the magazine (I've saved all my issues, too) and hopped online to see what I could learn. Thanks for the link to Nancy's blog. Can't wait to visit there too.
