Fall Nesting by the Inspired Room... Part 2

Melissa at The Inspired Room asks the question: Which room in your home do you need the most help with for Fall Nesting?

My response, of course, is my soon to be new art studio (formerly my living room.) As I shared a couple of weeks ago, I am currently doing my artwork "in my own little corner of my own little room"... errr, rather my own little corner of my dining room. I have big plans for the room pictured above, but I can always use a little help... Home Goods/fairy godmother... either would work well.

  1. Christi,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for those kind words!

You are going to have a wonderful art studio....that's quite a room!

I was reading below and we have another "love" in common....love Anne of Green Gables and you're so right...Megan Follows just molds perfectly into that role. Could there be any other Anne? I just love her spirit! My daughter & I LOVE that movie series!

Oh, and I love fall too!

    Have a great weekend!

  2. I don't know if this helps your plans in making a new art studio, but I find that is I remove all the furniture, it helps to visualize a little better.

Good luck with your decorating. I am sure that it will be gorgeous when you are done.

    Blessings,
    Cheryl

  3. How lovely to meet you, and thank you for visiting my blog :)

My workplace, where I do my watercolour and silk painting...though not so much in summer as it's gardening season...is my younger son's ex-bedroom. My computer is there too. Both my sons are married now, but when they come back they still stay in 'their' rooms. I occupy a corner of one, my hubbie has his office in our elder son's ex-bedroom...

I hope your art studio is all you wish for, and gives you inspiration :)

  6. Oh you're lucky you are finally starting to have your own art/work room. I have been planning to redecorate my computer room into a full -pledge home office but still can't push through with it...too little time too much work to do.

And since it is for a studio or art room I think a change of wall color would be necessary in that room. Good luck and have fun redecorating:)

  7. Hi Christi,

Heidi here-hehe! Just looking at that photo of the mountains has cooled our weather a bit. Only 104 right now.

I can't wait to see what your studio looks like when you are done.

Years ago, I was in the hospital and couldn't sleep. Anne of Green Gables was on and I was able to watch the series. LOVE IT!

Hope all is well. I need to go back to the mountain.

    hugs,
    Barb
